Microdermabrasion

This is a particularly effective treatment since it is appropriate for dry, normal, mixed, and greasy skin. Both men and women can benefit from microdermabrasion, regardless of their skin type and colour.

Microdermabrasion is a safe and fairly simple treatment that acts on the outermost layer of the skin. A high-pressure flow of aluminum oxide crystals is applied to the skin using a tube that removes dead skin cells, sebum, and the crystals themselves by suction. This process may be compared to a gentle sanding of the skin.

When microdermabrasion is performed deeper into the skin, it creates microlesions between the epidermis and dermis, thereby stimulating the processes of restoration and regeneration of new tissue that is firmer and more youthful.

Microdermabrasion is recommended for the treatment of acne, acne scars, wrinkles and fine lines, blackheads, microcysts, dilated pores, and dark spots. It also enhances skin glow and texture.
